ABOUT OASIS OUTREACH MINISTRIES
Oasis Outreach Ministries has been a member of the downtown community in Excelsior Springs for many years. With it's roots going back to the Broadway Youth Center, and in later years, operating a Crisis Pregnancy Center, the focus of Oasis has been to reach people and point them to Christ.
In 2020, the current Board of Directors stepped out in faith, and assumed the management and ministry of the organization. The purpose of Oasis Outreach Ministries is be God's light in today's troubled world, through evangelism, periodic classes, and events, as well as, community involvement.
Oasis Outreach Ministries is a non profit 501c3 organization in good standing with the State of Missouri and registered with the IRS.

Pastor/Board Advisor
Glen Sams
With years of ministry, as well as, private sector work, Glen brings a heart for people, and a love of the gospel, to the ministry. Glen has been an integral part of Oasis Outreach Ministries since 2020. In addition to his full time work, and leadership positions at his local church, Glen enjoys time with his family which includes two sons and multiple grandchildren.

Jennifer Satterfield
Jennifer (Jenny) joined the Oasis Board of Directors in 2020 with vision of reaching children for Christ. Jenny works with the team to coordinate local festival events. Jenny is a registered nurse. Along with her husband and daughters, Jenny is an integral part of ministry at her local church.

Kelly Satterfield
Kelly is a vital part of the Oasis ministry, organizing and working events. Kelly comes to the Board with a background in customer service, and a heart for people. Kelly and her husband are deeply involved in their local church and enjoy any spare time available with family.

Ronald Johnston
As Board Advisor, Ron brings ministry experience and years of private sector work to his position. Ron was instrumental providing guidance to the Board as restructure occurred in 2020. Ron brings a passion and vision for reaching people for Christ to his advisor position. When not working or leading his congregation, Ron loves spending time with family and friends.

Daryl Satterfield
Daryl brings the knowledge of building maintenance and construction to the Board. Daryl led the work, and team, of volunteers who completed the renovation work at the ministry headquarters. In addition, Daryl brings a heart for people his position. Daryl has a full time career in the auto industry and loves spending time with his grandchildren.

Jessica Taylor
Jessica brings a heart for young people to her position on the Oasis Board. During festival events, Jessica can be found out in the crowds inviting people to the Oasis area to take part in activities, and hear the gospel. Jessica has been on the Board of Directors since 2020. She is involved in her local church and operates her own business.

Shannon Minor
Shannon joined the Oasis Outreach Ministry Board in 2025, as Secretary to the Board. Shannon brings office experience to her position as well as a desire to see people reached with the saving knowledge of the gospel. Shannon is an active in her church and works on the children's ministry.

Sandy Minor
Sandy joined the Oasis Outreach Ministries Board in 2025 as the Treasurer. From her work in the private sector, Sandy brings treasury experience to her board position. Sandy is an active member of her church and enjoys spending time with family.

Michelle Friske
Michelle joined the Oasis Board in 2025 as a member at large. Michelle has a heart for people. She is active in her local church. Michelle enjoys crafting and spending time with friends and family.

Josh Nunez
Josh joined the Oasis Board in 2023 Josh organizes and leads the team's evangelism efforts, as well as serving as the team's Financial Peace University coach. In addition to his work with the Oasis Board and his full time career in finance, Josh offers evangelism training for churches and individuals. Josh and his family are active members of their local church. .

Curtis Romang
Joining the Board in 2025 as an Advisor, Curtis brings years of pastoral ministry experience and a passion to help others, as well as, reaching them with the saving knowledge of the gospel. When not in the pulpit, Curtis enjoys visiting and helping out members of his congregation, reading, and spending time with his family.

Tyson Taylor
Tyson joined the Oasis Board as Vice President in 2020. Tyson has been instrumental in shaping the mission of Oasis Outreach Ministries. Tyson brings youth ministry experience to the Board. In addition to his position at Oasis, Tyson has a full time career in the construction field.

Lori Sams
Lori has been with Oasis Outreach Ministries since 2020 when the current Board of Directors took over the organization. As President, Lori brings a background in organizational management, and team leadership to the group, coupled with extensive work with youth and young adult education through her full time career work. Lori holds multiple positions in her local church in education, women's and music ministries. In addition to work and ministry, Lori enjoys spending time with family and crafting.
